The Wildwood Gourmet cutting board is truly a functional piece of natural art. This circular board depicts all seasons as shown in the growth rings of each log. It’s in the summer that this wood becomes mechanically stronger, otherwise known as summer wood.

This summer wood is named for many childhood summer days spent on Shell Island discovering wild woods and branches in the dunes. After a sack lunch, juice box and another coat of sunscreen it was time for more adventures. No one ever walked away without a souvenir from the day’s activities- whether it was a sea shell, sand dollar, hermit crab or a piece of wild wood.
